About 4 yrs ago now I decided to sell my big house, downsize and retire to the Nanaimo area. I burnt thru 2 agents in 6 months until I got lucky and met Tim, who later got lucky and met Tina. I warned Tim it was going to be a grind as I was looking for something specific. He was all in. Then, after 3 1/2 yrs of looking, well over 40 viewings and 2 offers, we both knew when we'd found my retirement place as soon as we walked in. Having bought and sold 7 houses, my 8th was the easiest, most professional and enjoyable experience, And it was a grind ! If it's out there, they will keep grinding until they find it. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with both Tim and Tina recently. We are looking to retire on the island, and decided to purchase vacant land to possibly build a home one day. We contact a local firm (before they started Island Realty) and were lucky enough to be assigned Tina and Tim. They went above and beyond the call of duty that I have never ever experienced with realtors before. Bar none!! Because we both live on the mainland, they even went to check out the lots for us and prepared a live video chat so that we could view the lots. Super efficient in communicating and efficient with documentation, and accommodated our schedule. Tim is very knowledgeable when it comes to construction and offered invaluable advice to us (should we decide to build in the future). If you want top notch service from two down to earth individuals, they are the ones you want working for you. Without hesitation, this the team you want, whether you are selling or buying.

Leading up to me buying my place they where very professional and quick to respond to all questions and if they didn't know the answer right away they found it always within the same day and usually within the hour. That along puts them up there and having bought and sold many places I have dealt with Realtors in the past and Tim and Tina are FIVE STARS Plus. The other reasons they are the best after my purchase which wasn't a big commission for them I ran into some very troubling info on my purchased which none of us was informed of before purchase but they took it upon themselves to really get to the bottom of the issues and contacted many people on my behalf to get answers. After about 5 days of not knowing they helped to clear up all issues and I was left with a smile and a big thank you to them as I wouldn't have had it without them. After selling our home on the Mainland we started looking for our new home on the Island. We did not have a realtor, so when we found a house we wanted to see we called the listing agent. After seeing a few houses we met Tim and Tina. They were what we were looking for in a realtor.
